Reshuffle for Kingfisher's management team


Following news that Kingfisher group ceo Euan Sutherland is to leave the business, Kingfisher has announced that Mr Sutherland's main responsibilities will be assumed by two members of the senior management team.

Following news that Kingfisher group ceo Euan Sutherland is to leave the business, Kingfisher has announced that Mr Sutherland's main responsibilities will be assumed by two members of the senior management team.

Guy Colleau, who is currently ceo of Kingfisher's Castorama business in France, will become ceo for group sourcing and offer, where he will be responsible for the development of Kingfisher's sourcing offices and the Kingfisher brand network. In his new position he will join Kingfisher's group executive team.

Mr Colleau will be replaced at Casto France by Véronique Laury, who has held a number of senior roles at Kingfisher, including commercial strategy director, commercial director of B&Q UK and commercial director of Castorama France.

Meanwhile, Screwfix boss Steve Willett will become ceo of group development and productivity, with responsibility for accelerating productivity and multi-channel plans. Mr Willett will remain responsible for the Screwfix business and will also join Kingfisher's Group Executive team.

The changes will become effective on March 1, 2013.

From then, Kingfisher's Group Executive team will now consist of:
Group chief executive Ian Cheshire
Group finance director Karen Witts
CEO of the Castorama and Dépôt brands Philippe Tible
CEO of the B&Q and Koçtaş brands Kevin O'Byrne
CEO group development and productivity Steve Willett
CEO group sourcing and offer Guy Colleau
